DAR Training
Are you a Designated Agency Representative (DAR) for the Networx Contract in need of training? AT&T, Level3, Qwest, Sprint and Verizon Business will each lead DAR Training Sessions on Monday June 21. These 3 hour sessions will be held in the morning and in the afternoon.
AT&T Networx DAR Training
Knowing how to successfully order and manage Networx services is essential to the role and responsibilities of the Government DAR (Designated Agency Representative). Through hands-on activities, detailed job aids and resource materials, this interactive workshop will teach you how to order, track and manage your assets by:
- Identifying the 44 Networx Service offerings and their technology.
- Setting up a Networx account/Agency Hierarchy Code.
- Identifying the key components needed to order Networx Services.
- Understanding the various ways to order, track and manage your inventory/assets.
- Understanding pricing, billing and the dispute resolution process.
- Understanding how to detect Telecommunications Fraud.
- Viewing the health of your network and creating trouble tickets electronically
AT&T Networx Training Registration
Level 3 DAR Training
This condensed DAR training session is an abbreviated version of the
Level 3 DAR course that is accessible via the Level 3 GSA Training
site. This session provides the Government DAR (Designated Agency
Representative) with information about the Level 3 Networx Enterprise
contract and an overview of the WITS 3 contract. Students will learn
about our services, processes and procedures as well as using the GSA
Customer Portal. Primary focus will be on the use of the Portal for
order entry, tracking, inventory, and billing.
Copies of presentation materials, slides, handouts and job aids will
be made available to the student.
This training is segmented into 4 modules:

Qwest Government Services - Networx DAR Training
The Qwest Networx DAR training introduces our Networx services, features and benefits including the newest service: MTIPS (Managed Trusted Internet Protocol Service). This training includes processes and procedures designed to enhance the Networx customer service experience.
The Qwest DAR training includes:
- Overview of Qwest Networx Services, including MTIPS!
- Demonstration of Qwest Operational Support Systems (Qwest Control Networx Portal)
- Overview of Qwest Service Delivery, Inventory, and Repair Processes and Procedures
- Billing Inquiry and Reporting functions
- Transition procedural overview

Qwest DAR Training Registration
Sprint Networx DAR Training
Sprint will provide a 1/2 day training session for Designated Agency Representatives. DARs may register for one of two sessions in the morning or in the afternoon. Students will be introduced to the history and background of the Networx contract, Sprint products and service offerings under Networx, and an overview of Sprint service order processes, billing, dispute handling, trouble management, customer support and pricing.
Students will also receive an overview and demonstration of the Sprint Government Web Portal and the Sprint Networx Billing Software tool.
After completing DAR Training at the 2010 Network Services Conference, students will be able to:

Enhance agency telecommunications effectiveness by gaining a better understanding of the selection of applicable service and applications available under the Networx Enterprise contract.

Understand Sprint Networx Enterprise services and products, security offerings, and Government roles and
responsibilities.

Describe Sprint Operational Support Systems including online billing, service ordering, trouble management,
pricing, inventory, report snap-shot and ad hoc reporting.

Understand Sprint Networx processes and procedures, including: placing and tracking orders, reporting and
tracking troubles and complaints, escalation procedures for problem resolution, resolving billing disputes, obtaining credit adjustments, fraud prevention including: customer premises safeguards, proper
service assistance methods, and coordinating with the Sprint Networx Customer Support Office.

Describe the Sprint and Government Agency roles and responsibilities, expectations, timeframes and preparation activities as they apply to Transition.

Verizon Business Designated Agency Representative (DAR) Networx Overview
This session will provide information on the following: Overview of the Networx Universal Customer Center (NUCC)/Networx Enterprise Customer Center (NECC) Portals and Process for Registering for the Portal.

- Invoice viewing and billing inquiries
- Trouble reporting and trouble ticket tracking
